she came upon a knife
She tripped and fell upon it
and it took her very life
Her mom and dad were crying
Her little sister sad
But not one of them knew
Little Mary was really bad

The knife she had discovered
she put into her dress
She then snuck up the stairs
and on her mind was death
She knew her little sister
was turning 8 today
Her little bratty sister was going to get to play
See the gift that she was getting
Mary Tyler didn't get
The doll that would say wahh whenever it was wet
So Little Mary Tyler
and her little thoughts of death
went to kill her little sister
with the knife tucked in her dress

Little Mary Tyler didn't see that on the floor
Her parents left her sisters gift outside of her front door
So when Little Mary Tyler went to end her sisters life
She tripped and fell upon her big old kitchen knife

So now Little Mary Tyler is burried in the ground
And her family will never know the truth
Dead children make no sounds
